Patricia, a Mississippi-born librarian and author, was raised on Nancy Drew mysteries and dreamed of becoming a detective with her best friend, Vicki. Though she chose a career as an author and librarian, she still enjoys the mystery of crafting the perfect book. Her writing tips include making a habit of reading and writing daily, constantly rewriting ideas, and keeping a notebook handy to capture new thoughts. She also recommends collecting interesting words, writing about familiar subjects, researching new ones, and sharing stories with friends.
