TEACHER LESSON PLANS AND SCHOOL VISITS

With thirty years of experience as a teacher and librarian working with students, I am enthusiastic about guiding them through the entire writing process, from brainstorming to finalizing a piece. I frequently use the phrase “What if?” in my sessions to encourage creative thinking. My aim is to help students understand that authors write, edit, and make decisions—similar to the tasks they perform for their teachers. I truly believe everyone can become an author: Just Read, Read, Read.

In-person classroom visit (45 minutes): $150. Additional classroom visits are $100 each, up to four visits per day. Please note that travel fees may apply for schools more than 30 miles from Dallas.

School Presentation: $400 for 45 minutes, depending on grade level.

Virtual, 30 minutes: $100
